Tagträumen — outside K21
On 18.10.2025, a soft happening unfolded beneath the trees outside K21 — a collaboration between @pompomjoe and @designed_yoga_mia. See the post.
The work explored the interaction between people, art, and nature. Passersby were invited to participate, turning the installation into a shared experience — a transaction of collective energy shaped through touch and movement. What began as a playful gesture evolved into a meditation in motion.
KUNSTPUNKTE @ ES365
On 13–14.09.2025, we showed a couple of my giant pom poms alongside works from the ES365 artist community for Kunstpunkte.
Friends and visitors stopped in to hug the fluff, share laughs, and soak up the energy. Huge thanks to everyone who came by and made the weekend sparkle.
PRISM SOUL with Designed Yoga
On 24.08.2025 at 18:00, Düsseldorf fiber artist @pompomjoe joined @designed_yoga for a 60 minute experience blending chakra-inspired yoga, meditative dance, and interactive fiber art.
Hosted at ES365 — Künstlerateliers & Ausstellungsraum (Erkrather Str. 365, Düsseldorf), the studio became a living altar of color, breath, and sound as guests moved through vibrant threads, warm light, and grounding rhythm—an intimate exploration of play, presence, and connection.

DIE KLEINE 2025 at Kunstpalast
A project close to my heart. As a volunteer parent at my son’s Montessori school, I spent four joyful weeks helping the kids make hundreds of pom poms for DIE KLEINE 2025—a city-wide exhibition celebrating creativity in primary schools.
Together we assembled the pom poms into a giant heart, a bright symbol of friendship and community. One of those pieces you never forget—and kind of wish you could keep forever.
POM POM WONDER WORKSHOP
A playful workshop at the Music Academy in Köln—hands-on making, big smiles, and lots of yarn.
We crafted pom poms together, swapped stories, and turned simple materials into colorful keepsakes. A small community moment with a big, fuzzy heart.
Pom Pom Power with Michael Zöphel
A collaborative session fusing an oversized pom pom with dynamic light painting and bodymapping.
Long-exposure gestures traced movement across the form, turning fiber into luminescent sculpture—playful, surreal, and a little bit cosmic. Collaboration with photographer Michael Zöphel.
ETUK — Wear Your Values
ETUK (@etukatelier) is a Düsseldorf fashion label blending sustainability, tailoring, and innovation.
We’ve collaborated on multiple occasions—first during an open studio, and later for a fashion presentation at the Bilker Bunker. A giant pom pom and dozens of smaller ones brought playful texture to ETUK’s sharp, minimal world.
NFT.NYC 2024
Featured artist & speaker, April 3–5 at the Javits Center, Hudson Yards, for NFT.NYC.
I spoke about building cultural bridges through Web3—how genuine engagement with the global artist community sparks collaboration and growth. Seeing a photo of me projected in Times Square was surreal. Huge thanks to NFT.NYC for being a beating heart of NFTs.
Nhân Loại – Paradis Artificiel by Hoang Dang Nhan
A photo series exploring the nuances of humanity—expanding ideas of masculinity, femininity, and beauty. My pom poms brought a playful, tactile counterpoint to the portraits, inviting viewers to meet identity with color and curiosity.
Soft textures meet strong poses, creating an intimate space where performance and tenderness coexist. A collaboration about presence, dignity, and joy.
